Alas and Alack
I've resumed running.
Few notes. Treadmills are definitely 'easier' than real-world terrain. But a workout is a workout is a workout. Treadmills rule in that there is no need to wear more than a pair of shorts and a sports bra. With a neat little fan at your back - it's awfully comfortable. Even with the hiatus I felt strong. It was good.
If you don't step on the edge and nearly tumble back into said fan, arms pinwheeling madly.
AB was so sweet tonight. We bought her her birthday present and R took her out to play with it.
A bike.
With training wheels.
Oh god I'm going to cry.
Such a big girl.
She doesn't really have the knack for pedaling yet, but she's getting it quickly.
In other news, props are due. I would not be running again if it were not for the example R has set. With all my good intentions, I am unable to get up in the mornings until it's time to get ready for work, and without his example of night-time workouts, such would never have occurred to me as feasible. I always assumed the endorphins would keep one up. So far it's been fine and I thank him. Also he's put AB to bed two nights in a row so I would have more time. Thank you, R. *kiss*
How have you been?
