Once a Year

Once a year R goes on a mancation to see some of his buds. This year it was this weekend.

I don't know where to start. The day and a half sans AB and R was... wonderful. A great break. What did I do? Nothing. At all. There was Chipotle. I slept very well without either monkey to wake me. That's about it.

AB and I had a great day yesterday going to the park, store, and getting take-out. She was so very patient with me this morning, even allowed for a brisk walk. She helped me get the house picked up for family coming over. When family got here she got very riled up and had to have two time-outs, one of which she actually screamed through most of (hello, no nap/rest).

So naturally when it was bedtime she was very sweet... and asleep in about four minutes.

R comes back tomorrow.

I'd like to come up with a clever closing line but I'm too exhausted. It was wonderful.
