The First Similie
"I jumped and sticked like a magnet!"
We had spent the morning playing with magnets on the fridge. Then she started jumping off her little chair. I asked her to be careful and to take off her socks so she didn't slip. She did. Then she jumped and said the above, her very first similie. Awww! Two years and 11 months tomorrow. Then she laid down in front of the fridge and put her feet on it. Har har. Like a magnet. Cute.
We're researching new garage door openers. We currently only have one, and it has got to be the cheapest piece of shit known to man. Even with fresh batteries I have to yank it off my visor and point it at the door like a dorkus. I want one with keypad entry so we can go our the garage for walks and be able to get back into the house on that fateful day when AB locks us out. Installation is expensive, so if you have some good tools I have some hot cash for you. Bonus points if you go pick them up. Most likely R's Dad will come help. I'm sure there will either be 1) a healthy dose of male bonding, or 2) a lot of "huh?" "what?" "no, don't do it like that, are you stupid?"
I just know it won't be me boiling in the garage doing that manual labor shit. Nuh uh. I am a princess. I'll pay Lowe's $250 first. (Or someone else, what, $150? C'mon, haggle.)
OK, that's enough sleeping for the R-man. Seriously. We're going to get him now. Time to pack for the farm. Waaa-hoo! (I'm not really excited, you understand.)
So go get depressed by some old man's balls and have a miserable weekend without me.
