Vaca Starts Today
I can't wait:
- To hug my family
- To sink my toes in the sand
- To smell the Savannah River
- To slightly color my skin
- To run my flat route on the island
- To build sandcastles with AB
- To walk down the cobbles of River Street while AB holds tightly onto my middle finger
- To walk on the beach hand in hand with R at sunset
- To eat dinner at The Oyster Bar with extended family
- To watch for dolphins with AB
- To go out with R and his sisters
I could do without:
- The sulfur smell
- The 5 hour drive out and back
- The unpacking
- The sunburn
- The 3rd floor condo location
- The heat
- The sweating
Maybe I should just stay here.
Catch you later, folks. If you feel like it, in the comments tell me what you hate most about vacation. (Yes, I did just adopt that. Lame, I know.)

I LOVE anything about vaction, even the bad stuff you listed! It's just great waking up in the morning knowning you don't have to go to work.

You're right. Thanks for centering me. Anything is better than going to work.
Savannan -
Yeppers. I'll email ya. Stay away from the Knudsen. He is a bad influence.
I don't and haven't really gone on holiday, poor working class family and all. I hate staying in hotels and would rather just have day trips to the beach , castle or fairground.
Bad influence? are you sure you have the right person? I go to church once a week I'll have you know, of course they won't let me in due to the WWII flashback I had, hardly my fault and it was all cleanable.
Be sure to stop by River St. Sweets. The air just outside of the shop (or is it a shoppe?) is sweet.
Knudsen -
Bad. Influence. You don't give a fuck, remember? MUAH!
Mist -
I'm on it. Shoppe. Air. Sweet. I'll grab you some pralines while I'm at it b/c I'm not about to try and capture some "sweet air."
